An employee benefit program is available to employees after the completion of their probationary period of 450 hours.
Based on the current benefit plan, the employer is able to provide the following premium payments and shall be responsible for paying:
For full-time employees, 100% of the premium cost for life insurance and extended health coverage as well as 75% of the premium cost for dental.
For permanent part-time employees, 50% of the premium cost for life insurance and extended health coverage, as well as 50% of the premium cost for dental.
Part-time employees who are regularly scheduled to work for less than 40 hours bi-weekly and have completed their probationary period of 450 hours, shall receive $0.75 per hour in lieu of all health and welfare and sick leave benefits.
