Committee members required
The Executive Board is seeking 4 members to sit on the bylaw committee.
Committee members are responsible for reviewing and making suggested changes to our bylaws.
Book off time will be provided to members interested in taking part. Please forward your name to the Executive Board for nomination at the February 20 Membership Meeting.
Negotiating Committee Update
As you are all aware, our Collective Agreement expired on December 31 2018. The negotiating committee had dated set on January 8 & 9 2019 to begin bargaining a new agreement. Both dates had been cancelled by the employer and new dates had to be arranged.
Bargaining with the employer is scheduled to begin on February 28 & March 1 2019.
The committee will provide updates as necessary.
Bargaining Update
Our current Collective Agreement is set to expire on December 31 2018. The negotiating committee met on November 13 and 14 2018 to prepare for the upcoming bargaining sessions.
Bargaining proposals have been put together and will be presented to members at the next GMM.
The committee will meet with the employer in January to begin negotiations.
Arbitration Award
An Arbitration Award was written and received by the Local on August 22, 2018.
New Collective Agreements will be printed and distributed shortly.

Bargaining Update
The Negotiating Committee would like to report that we met with management on Thursday January 5 2017. More dates have been scheduled for February 16 and 17 2017, and a tentative date for February 13 2017.
